Welcome Aboard!
Crossing the Finish Line helps adult cancer patients, their caregivers and their families cope with the unyielding physical and emotional demand of cancer by providing a one week, expense paid respite excursion in a peaceful, secure environment. We aim to strengthen the hearts, minds and souls of these courageous individuals as they battle the psychological, emotional, economic and spiritual trauma that accompanies an unexpected diagnosis.

Our cancer patients are our "Sailors" and their respite are "excursions." To be considered for an excursion, a Sailor must:
- Have a physician diagnosis of cancer
- Be between the ages of 24-50
- Reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware

CFL's Season of Hope
This time of the year gives us pause to celebrate the spirits which define Crossing the Finish Line's community - the spirit of giving and the spirit of hope. Each one of you gives hope to so many families rocked by cancer. Rocked...shattered...splintered...and then, pieced back together by your giving spirit and your gift of hope. There are many ways to support CFL and our families:
- Make a donation to support our mission here. No gift is too small!
- Stuff a stocking with grand prize raffle tickets (top prize is a cruise, second prize is a week at the CFL home in Davenport, FL and third prize is $250).
- Plan a night out for your family and friends at this year's Beach Ball 2009 on January 24, 2009. Purchase a ticket for someone and make memories of a lifetime.

Healthcare Providers Direct Partnership
Crossing the Finish Line is proud to partner with Healthcare Providers Direct, Inc. through its Colon Health Check product to support CFL's mission of providing respites to adult cancer patients and their families.
